Investcorp Acquires NSEIT’s Digital Technology Services for $120 Million

Investcorp, a leading alternative asset manager based in Bahrain, has announced its acquisition of the digital technology services division of India’s National Stock Exchange (NSE) for $120 million.

This acquisition excludes NSEIT’s digital examination sector, which focuses on online recruitment and promotion tests.

NSEIT specializes in digital transformation and cybersecurity services, catering to capital markets, insurance, and banking sectors across India, North America, and the Middle East. This move is part of Investcorp's strategy to expand its footprint in high-growth markets and enhance its global portfolio, which includes technology and IT services.

Gaurav Sharma, the head of India Investment Business at Investcorp, emphasized the acquisition’s role in reinforcing the firm's commitment to investing in promising sectors and supporting strong management teams. With over $52 billion in managed assets, Investcorp continues to make significant investments across various sectors, including consumer tech, healthcare, and financial services.
